Here are the corrected times for the big boats using time on time with a B factor of 550. I got the handicaps from ecsa phrf or base boat ratings where no certificate was available. I can do this whenever finish times are recorded. Or if someone objects I can not do it as well. I prefer to see how we really did. Finish times do NOT reflect the "just having fun" factor. I'm sure if the skippers KNEW the times would be corrected the standings would change. Apoligies if any non spin ratings are wrong. Apoligies for the format getting mashed in the copy paste process. The first number is corrected finish. The second number is uncorrected finish. I can only save the results in HTML. Gonna go do the little boats now. 6/30/05 1 2 dr. evil 119 7:41:48 PM 6/30/2005 1:01:48 1:00:03 2 4 brilliant disguise 146 7:44:20 PM 6/30/2005 1:04:20 1:00:05 3 15 spirit 199 7:49:46 PM 6/30/2005 1:09:46 1:00:33 4 5 promise 135 7:45:41 PM 6/30/2005 1:05:41 1:02:20 5 6 thistle 135 7:45:58 PM 6/30/2005 1:05:58 1:02:36 6 12 full tilt 155 7:49:00 PM 6/30/2005 1:09:00 1:03:37 7 11 spqr 148 7:48:20 PM 6/30/2005 1:08:20 1:03:38 8 16 enigma 189 7:52:52 PM 6/30/2005 1:12:52 1:04:05 9 8 schock therapy 138 7:47:52 PM 6/30/2005 1:07:52 1:04:07 10 10 paikea 133 7:48:11 PM 6/30/2005 1:08:11 1:04:53 11 9 audacious 129 7:48:09 PM 6/30/2005 1:08:09 1:05:14 12 3 blackhawk 70 7:42:28 PM 6/30/2005 1:02:28 1:05:29 13 14 straight up` 136 7:49:20 PM 6/30/2005 1:09:20 1:05:42 14 7 defiant 113 7:47:35 PM 6/30/2005 1:07:35 1:06:15 15 1 spitfire 21 7:39:57 PM 6/30/2005 0:59:57 1:08:15 16 17 windy 131 7:53:32 PM 6/30/2005 1:13:32 1:10:11 1 Jul, '05, 06:26 "Corrected Time" at www.stpetescorer.com

Here are the small boat times. I have no info on flying cloud or legacy so I gave them a provisional rating of 225. If someone has ratings for them they may be applied next time perhaps. # Sail # Boat Name PHRF Time Day Elapsed Corrected 1 2 ioms 189 7:28:02 PM 6/30/2005 0:53:02 0:46:39 2 4 esperance 202 7:30:50 PM 6/30/2005 0:55:50 0:48:16 3 1 savage 142 7:27:58 PM 6/30/2005 0:52:58 0:49:45 4 3 silver bullet 152 7:29:55 PM 6/30/2005 0:54:55 0:50:51 5 6 flying cloud 225 7:37:00 PM 6/30/2005 1:02:00 0:52:00 6 7 searenity 251 7:39:40 PM 6/30/2005 1:04:40 0:52:29 7 5 relentless 142 7:31:05 PM 6/30/2005 0:56:05 0:52:41 8 8 elfin 267 7:43:58 PM 6/30/2005 1:08:58 0:54:52 9 9 legacy 225 7:47:19 PM 6/30/2005 1:12:19 1:00:39 1 Jul, '05, 07:11 "Corrected Time" at www.stpetescorer.com

Hmm..I just noticed Kevin marked the finish times as TOD but it sure looks like uncorrected times to me. If this is so Kevin please delete my posts. I believe you have the power..

Jim,
I can't seem to remove or modify the corrected finishes you posted.
My mistake in expressing the time of finish as TOD. I meant Time Of Day. The norm now is to use TOT or Time On Time scoring so the mixup escaped me. Also there was no course length posted.
So if anyone wants to re-compute. The times are times-of-day and scoring would be based on those times, less the start time of day. Then apply the correction.

Kevin To compute the corrected TOT scores I just needed PHRF rating, Sail number(fudged it) and start/finish time. I didnt need course length as it doesnt come into play when using TOT. What may not be correct are the PHRF ratings for boats without ECSA certificates. But it's close and only informal. As far as modifying my posts you should have the power. Speak to Bob if he ever comes back from cruising.
